A New Blog and a Freebie!

Hi, I'm Cynthia and this is my first (awkward!) blog post. I am starting a brand new teaching loop this fall with 30 (count 'em)-yes 30 first graders! Thus (thus?!) the "First and Second Loop Troop!"

By the time September rolls around, there will for sure likely be more than 30! The plan is, I will continue with them as they go into second grade. Looping is great for connecting with your kids, starting the 2nd year off smoothly because they all know the routines, and keeping things fresh, fun, and different from year to year. Plus, I love BOTH my teaching teams in 1st and 2nd, so it is awesome to be able to work with all of them (yes, you--Melissa, Lindsay, and Laurie!) xoxo

Anywaaaay, I do want you to know that I have thought about starting a blog for the last 2 years! I have been so inspired, invigorated, and motivated by the teacher blogs and AMAZING teacher creativity I have seen!

Because I am such a blog addict and chronic classroom shopper, organizer, and decorator, not to mention planner...I thought I'd try blogging and share with you:
• my finds for the classroom
• things I create to better help me stay organized
• resources to help stay on top of the common core requirements
• pacing guide templates
• and other stuff!

They are a simple, ink-saving style, so you can print off onto colored cardstock and use them as is, OR print them and back them with your fav scrapbook paper. Hope you can use them!
